From lighting to table decor and decorative objects, we are finding any excuse to add a pop of colored glass to our spaces.  There's something nostalgic about colored glass, reminiscent of grandpa’s green glass desk lamp or your favorite diner’s heavy duty red glass ashtray. As designers reinvigorate this trend, they’re moving it into the modern design lexicon with playful color combinations and fluid silhouettes..

Vases

One of the ways we’ve been tiptoeing into this trend is through vases. We love seeing stems through glass and adding color brings another level of fresh and whimsey. One colored vase does the trick, but a cluster of two or three is even better.

Carnegie Table Lamp

The solid hand-blown base of this lamp mixes green and clear glass to create a dynamic play of light. The rotating shape adds a sense of movement while the tone-on-tone round shade makes this piece even more modern.

Bon Bon Collection

In short, we’re obsessed. From table lamps to decorative objects, the Bon Bon Collection epitomizes the modern evolution of blown glass. The juxtaposition of the hard material with the soft, amorphous shape is unique from everything else we're seeing this season. The pastel, candy color palette makes these pieces that much more covetable.

Triada Bowl

This gorgeous hand blown glass bowl adds a distinct pop of color to any surface it’s placed on. The super-saturated pink is giving us all the retro-miami vibes, while the wavy rim and fluid form feels distinctly feminine and new.
